measurable financial results within 12 months.
Our approach is to help identify specific
profit objectives and the projected gaps facing management.
We break down a company’s profit picture into revenue
and cost drivers that connect the financial world with the
operating environment. For revenue gaps we identify where
volume or price needs to change and then break these down
into more specific levers such as new business required versus
improved retention, price yields versus product or service
mix. For cost gaps we determine the key underlying drivers
such as material or labor and then assess whether improvements
in productivity will offset anticipated shortfalls. From the
analysis we develop and implement short and mid-term product
and method changes in order to close the gap. Results, as
always, are measured in the financial statements.
